New Season, New Sunnies

If you know me, you know I'm extremely picky about my sunglasses. Here and there, I'll take a risk and purchase a pair that are out of my comfort zone, but I tend to never actually end up wearing them. So, when I heard about the new Warby Parker sunglass collection, I was all about it. If you don't yet know, their Quintessentials collection is one that focuses greatly on the classics. Rather than unnecessarily going over the top, they have launched this collection for those who want to be able to accessorize for any occasion. Honestly, I'd best describe each pair of frames as absolutely timeless - you can wear them whenever and wherever, it's a win-win. And although they may be considered "simple", every pair comes in different colors, making them fun and that much more adaptable to any outfit you dream of.

If you don't know anything about Warby Parker, I sincerely suggest you take a further look into them because their story is what drew me in to loving them. The background of their work is the simple fact that they loved designer eyewear, but it was just way too expensive (we can all relate to that). So,  they took matters into their own hands and created eyewear that fit everyones aesthetic and budget. Not only have they designed high quality frames for a much better price, but they've also taken into consideration that not everyone who needs glasses actually has them. Because of this, the team at Warby Parker partners with non-profit organizations that provide a pair of free glasses to those in need when one is purchased. Isn't that the coolest?

And if you were wondering about my favorite pair... I truly think I spent a solid half hour deciding on. But, after the rather long discussion between myself in my head, I finally decided on the fact that the Abe frames in Gold were my absolute favorite. There's not one thing I would change about them, and that's the truth!

Spring

I've missed sharing my outfits on a platform other than Instagram..so here we are. Nothing has changed, I'm still wearing the same Bershka jacket as always. Basically, I'm still an outfit repeater, but I'm into vsco filters now.

Top 4 Chicago Cafes

If you know me, you must know that I am absolutely addicted to going to coffee shops on an almost daily basis. It's simply so convenient for me to do my work in spots like these because of the perfect atmosphere. Below I have mentioned the top 4 of my favorite cafes in the Chicagoland area and what I love about each.

1. Sawada Coffee
There are absolutely no words to describe the perfection of this place. I originally came in because I found out that it has matcha lattes - which had been very rare to find in Chicago. And so, with the first sip, I instantly fell in love with the place - and of course it's doughnuts from my favorite place, the Doughnut Vault.

2. C.C. Ferns
I first came to visit this place because it seemed to be where all the major Instagrammers came to visit. Very quickly, it became my go-to coffee shop that carries the absolute best oatmeal raisin cookie on the planet...not to mention it's the size of my head.

3. Caffe Streets
I began coming here simply because it was so close to where I lived. What I adore most is their freshly made variety of scones.

4. Heritage Bicycles
This is another Instagram found love of mine. Although it's further from my house than any of the other spots, I enjoy coming here when I have the most times. My favorite drink to grab is the vanilla soy latte and I often pair it with a slice of pie offered from Bang Bang Pie.

XOXO

This sweater is absolutely everything and more. I'm not one to wear striped clothing very often, but I do like to every now and then. Found this cute little thing from Pull&Bear in Poland and fell in love with the little graphic hearts on it. Most of my clothes are simple and you will very rarely see me wearing something that has many words on it (I feel like shirts shouldn't look like essays) - or more than one graphic for that matter. Anyway, what I want to focus on is the fact that I really surprised myself when I took a liking to this sweater. And I hope you love it just as much as I do.
