The 3 Arts Club

I always love finding new brunch places and last weekend, I did exactly that. I had visited the Three Arts Club located inside of the Restoration Hardware building, but had never been there for brunch. So, obviously I knew I had to give it a try. I was very pleased with what I ordered and so were the others that I came with. The interior of the cafe is absolutely wonderful. Above the fountain hangs a beautiful chandelier that I sadly, forgot to capture, so you'll just have to imagine it. But trust me, it's beyond words. You already know I'm all about atmosphere and this cafe has a great one. The feeling inside is cozy, yet modern.

Parisian Vibes

A sunny winter day that doesn't include a jacket feels like an absolute blessing. The month has felt strange without winter, but honestly I can't complain. This weather is agreeing with me on so many levels- especially when it comes to fashion. Don't get me wrong, I love a good parka, but I also love showing off my sweaters without covering half of them up with a coat.
I absolutely adore the sweater I am wearing here mostly because it has the name of the neighborhood that I stayed in while in Paris a few months back. And it's grey, so how could I not be obsessed?
You may be confused as to how I am not wearing skinny jeans. It's crazy, I know, but I have been eyeing a pair of jeans like these for the longest time. They're so different from what I usually wear, but still so comfortable.
Also pictured here is a hat that is so incredibly dear to my heart. I wanted one for the longest time and when I saw it in the sale section. I knew it was destiny. So, I have been wearing it almost every single day since I got it. No regrets though!!

Fall-Time Strolls

Spent the day walking around the city in my new pea coat- a fall must have. I've been looking everywhere for the perfect one and it's finally mine. I cannot even begin to explain how well it goes with everything. Super versatile and super warm! Obviously sporting my favorite black chelsea boots with it because I refuse to replace them with anything else. Loved wearing this look mainly because it's just so easy and quick to put together.

Denim Skirt

Happy almost end of the week! Thought I would share with you an outfit I wore this week, because why not? Paired my favorite denim skirt that's been trendy this past summer with a basic white shirt. Added a scarf since I do in fact live in the windy city- so it's fitting. Wore this look with some black boots that are sadly not pictured, but featured in my Sweater Weather post.

Sweatshop

Finally, I am sharing with you my love for this place. The best coffee shop in Brooklyn. It's about time.
When it comes to eating out for breakfast, I generally love to go to a cafe rather than a place that is specifically for this meal of the day. The meals at cafes tend to be much healthier than those I come across at restaurants. I also believe that since breakfast is in fact, the most important meal of the day, we should nourish our bodies and prepare them for the long day ahead.
During my most recent visit to New York, I came across this gorgeous little hidden cafe. I say hidden only because I passed it more than once before realizing that it was only across the street and a few steps down.
Walking in, you immedietly notice the bright sign that says "Sweatshop". You then must obviously take a photo for the gram, because it's more than necessary. Then, your eyes see the menu. You begin to tear up because everything seems so tasty and you can't just choose one.
My dad chose the Avo Toast to go along with his coffee of the hour. Although I did not try it, I could tell it was very well made because of how often he raved about it. Apparently the secret ingredient to making it so perfect is feta cheese. I was personally amazed by how flawlessly the sunny side up egg layed upon the toast. Just look at that beautiful thing.
Not being a huge coffee fan, I ordered myself a lovely green tea that I have been craving since that day. Along with that I ordered a Coyo Bowl, which I will never forget. It's absolutely unexplainable how delicious it was. A blend of acai and vegan coconut yogurt, topped with chia seeds, coconut flakes, the best granola ever, and some berries. It was so good that I came back for another the next day. It was also so good that I tried to make my own at home. I failed. How could something so simple be so impossible to recreate? I guess it's just another reason to go back to NYC.

Corn Sweater

Looking at what I've titled this post, you're probably thinking, "what?!" Well, if you look further into the photos that my sweater does in fact resemble corn- I cannot be the only one who thinks so. It may not be yellow, but it's all there..I'm wearing corn. Anyway, I have owned this sweater for about a year now and it will always remind me of corn- there's no changing that.
Today was a warm autumn day, but most importantly, it was a day off school. So, my mom and I headed to Lincoln Park to grab something to eat at Floriole and later grabbed a warm drink at one of my favorite coffee shops (Heritage Bicycles)!!
I had such an amazing day and hope you all did as well!! Enjoy these photos :)

Blackout

The most sliming color. Although I have tried my best to stay away from wearing all black and grey recently, my love for dull colors continues to shine bright.
What I love about outfits like this one is that it's not only simple and comfortable, but fairly sophisticated as well.
The jacket I am wearing is one of my all time favorites. It may seem a bit light (weight wise), but it's super warm- making it perfect for fall weather.
